Big Minds, Tiny Hands knows that early diagnosis and treatment can change the life of a child with a developmental disability.
We are a New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) evaluator for children from birth to age 3.
What happens in an evaluation?
Our multidisciplinary evaluations take place in your home. That means two or more professionals look at how your child is growing.
The evaluation gives your family the complete developmental information needed to decide the best course of intervention for your child.
What happens after the evaluation?
If your child is found eligible for early intervention services, they may be assigned one of the many qualified and licensed practitioners who work for our agency.
