Would your child benefit from an Early Intervention Program?

If you believe your child has or may have a developmental delay or disability, an Early Intervention Programs will provide a variety of therapeutic and support services to eligible infants, toddlers and preschoolers, at no cost to your family. Programs are funded by the NYS Department of Health and the NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene.

EIP Eligibility Requirements

Eligible infants and toddlers who live in New York City that:

• are from birth to three years old, and
• have a diagnosed physical or mental condition that is likely to result in a developmental delay; or
• are suspected of having a developmental delay or disability.

If your child is determined eligible for services and Big Minds, Tiny Hands is your preferred provider, our therapists will develop a treatment plan and begin services immediately once authorized all at no cost to you.
